Yes, there are certainly similarities in the House Flipper game that compare it to real life real estate investing.  For example, the business model of buy repair remodel and sell is the focus of the house flipper game as well as in many real estate enterprises.

Additionally, project management skills are required to succeed in both the game and in real life house flipping. Creativity in interior design, material selection, and the general rehab process are shared in both the game and in actual fixing and flipping homes.

While there’s no other house flipping video games quite like House Flipper, there are a few others that we’d consider in the same real of what we’ll call “real estate video games.”

The closest video game that resembles House Flipper is called Garden Flipper, which is made by the same company Empyrean.

In Garden Flipper, the gameplay is almost identical to House Flipper, except that you’re specifically fixing up your garden and performing landscaping work on the exterior of a house.

One of the other games like House Flipper that’s on our radar is Landlord Tycoon. This free online mobile app-based game touts itself as the 'real life Monopoly' where you utilize your GPS location on your smart phone to purchase and rent out real properties. 

In Landlord Tycoon, you start out with $50,000 and hustle your way up to build an empire. It treats the entire world like a board game, allowing users to play in over 190 countries and has over 50,000,000 properties that can be owned and capitalized on.
